A quickie

update. Thank you everyone for visiting :) The winner of the Margaret Sherry kits is Becky K/The Stitchin Post, congrats Becky!

There has been very little stitching around here...my mojo continues to be a flighty little devil! There has been much cleaning out and re-organizing, and gosh that feels good!!!

My afternoon plans are a soda and a sock :) And enjoying the quiet while I can. Spring break is next week. And then there's only 7 more weeks of school till summer vacation...gasp! Well, I think I might need to lie down after that shocking discovery, lol ;)

That pair of socks looks lovely! Have they taken long to knit?

Congrats, Becky!

Love the way that yarn stripes. I've just been reading about the problems of 'pooling' with multi-colored yarns. No such issues for your!

I LOVE those socks! You just couldn't be blue on a day you put them on!
I have knitted scarves and several sweaters, but for some reason socks have always intimidated me!

Hi Staci. I just wondered when you knit socks, do the heels tend to wear out quickly. Mine seem to do that.. I wonder if I am doing something wrong... Thanks Anne mannef@hotmail.com

OOps, forgot to ask.. What pattern do you use for most of your socks that are that same length as these colourful ones?

So you prefer Pepsi over Coke? I'm a Coke girl but I suppose we can still be friends ;)

Cool socks Staci!! How many pairs have you made since you've been knitting?

Vee said...

Staci, you're gonna make me get out my sock needles and cast on for a pair of socks :-) I really do need to do that because here it is March and I'd usually have at least two pair knitted by now..You're my inspiration :-)

Wonderful socks! We just made it through our March break and that was long enough for me!
