Schoolgirl Lessons

Hello everyone! My week is starting with a finish, hurray!

Schoolgirl Lessons by

Little House Needleworks

fabric: 32ct Belfast Linen in Fog by Picture this Plus

fiber: Needle Necessities Inc, #153

This was a delightful little project :) A sweet, monochromatic stitch that finishes up before boredom can set in.
I think the red accents on this frame are the perfect compliment, the pictures should be clickable...

And I think I have the perfect place for this...my bedside table :)

Sorry there are so many photos. But some days I'm lucky to get one good one and some days (like today), it seems I like all the pictures and can't decide which ones to use!!!

I'll be back soon, I have a really lovely exchange to show you :) But in the mean time, I need to tackle my google reader. And make my blog look pretty. Happy Stitching!!!

  9. The frame is so perfect. I have to remember to sometimes choose a more impressive frame for a smaller piece. Yours really sets it off. Did you have it custom made for the piece? I can't say I see such lovely frames premade where I shop.

Lovely finish. I think you're right about monochromatic stitching - it can get boring if it goes on too long, but your piece certainly didn't do that!
