Sweet RAK

Look what showed up in my mailbox Monday...

A gorgeous gift from the talented and oh-so-generous Harmien! These beautiful stitching accessories have helped pull me out of my stitching slump......I immediately "dressed" my scissors and floss! Thank you so very much dear friend. It's like I have you sitting and stitching with me when I look upon these sweet treasures :)


Laurie and I did a small personal exchange. She asked for a pair of knitted socks. And since her favorite color is purple, they just had to be that of course ;) I was worried about them fitting properly (because handknit socks lack the elasticity of store-bought.) But she assures me that they fit perfectly, whew!

    Wow, that is beautiful! Harmien did a wonderful job of stitching and finishing! I love it! :) I also love your exchange to Laurie - those socks look so comfy! I must knit another pair (I know I keep saying that). I think I need a day in my rotation for knitting.

    Can't believe its a year already... You've done a wonderful job...Keep having fun! You've got some wonderful gifts from some wonder people and I know there's a lot that were so pleased to have been gifted with your talents too...so guess it's good we don't mind sharing ya!
