Sock Weather

Hello Friends!  It seems I've lost my blogging mojo along with my stitching mojo...so if you find either one, can you send it back?  I thought I'd better make an appearance because the knitty finishes are starting to pile up!

We've been having some gorgeous fall weather, but the temps are definitely more seasonal this week.  The chill in the air makes me thankful for a drawer full of handknit socks!

Hoping you are having some fabulous fall weather too!  Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods...I really enjoy your visits!

  2. Hi Staci,

It is great to see post from you. All of your socks look wonderful. I do confess that I miss seeing your beautiful stitching.

I do appreciate knitting. It Is something that I have never been able to do with any proficiency.

    Enjoy the cooler temperatures.

  6. You seem to work up those beautiful socks so easily! Double pointed needles still scare me even though I've played with them a bit!

Nice to see you've kept those hands working!

  7. You always pick the cutest sock patterns/yarn! Love your helper, too!

I have to half pairs of socks, one Christmas and one fall, that I really need to knit mates to so I can wear them. Stocking is almost done, and then I can give them some attention.

  10. SO glad to find that I'm not the only one. Unfortunately, with the knitting mojo, UP went the stitching mojo too, so now I have all this mojo and just one pair of hands and... socks to knit! Just like you! Yours are gorgeous and lovely and beautiful, esp. the first pair :o)

  19. Hi Staci,

Ah ... there you are!! Looks
    like your knitting needles
    have been busy during your
    blogging break.

The orange ones with the lacy
    cuffs are my favorites followed
by the fun, striped ones in the
    color Jasper. Very pretty.

    I don't remember meeting your
    photo helper before. He's
    adorable!! Love that black
spot over one eye, and his
    black ears. Such a handsome
    fellow. You know, he just
wanted you to take HIS picture,
    and forget about those silly
    socks.

    I think that everyone looses
    their "stitching" or their
    "blogging" mojo at one time
    or another. Being without
a computer for so long sure
    brought my mojo back. It's
    so nice to reconnect with
    you again Staci.

    Cheers!

  22. I love patterned socks but by far my favorite is a simple stockinette. I'll have to check out those eyelet rib socks on Ravelry!

We're having weather a bit warmer than normal with temps today close to 90. Ugh!

  23. Love the socks, but was totally distracted by that gorgeous dog! What amazing colors and markings. What breed is he?
What type of yarn is the Vanna's Glamour? I'd like to try a pair using it.

The photo helper cracked me up. I had a similar problem with four-footed "helpers" this morning taking a shot of an FO.

  33. Hi Staci! Don't know if you remember me but I just had to tell you that your dog is just so beautiful!!! What kind of dog is he? I've lost my stitching mojo as well and have been more into baking now. I miss it but just can't do it for some reason. I have even bought new stash to see if I can't get back into it but I haven't.
