Hello Dear Friends! It's been a while, hasn't it? I never really meant to stop blogging, but it just sort of happened in that "life is busy, but in a good way" sort of way. And then I haven't updated because there is a mountain of stuff to catch up on. I still knit every day, but I feel less need to blog about it. Perhaps you've felt that way before? And I went through a serious clean-out and orginization of the xstitch and knitting patterns....I mean honestly, will I really live long enough to make it through the eleventy-billion patterns I kept?
As today's title implies, this post is strictly the socks I've completed since I last blogged. There are non-sock knitty finishes in the blogging wings. But I always feel a little lost if my sock needles are empty...
Because I'm being totally lazy, you can find all the details on
my Ravelry page :) Thank you as always, for stopping by my neck of the woods and for your sweet comments...they always make my day :)
Nice to see you back, sometimes a break is what you need to bring you back fresh again. Great knitting as always.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of socks! It's socktacular! It's the sockpocalypse! Congrats on all the finishes. I need to make myself some knee socks...that's the only way I'll get some that fit!
ReplyDeleteLove your socks Staci! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat socks. Glad you're back.
ReplyDeleteGreat sock collection. Hard to find really good knee socks these days so you're lucky you know how to knit them! Miss your posts and glad to hear you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteStupendous socks, Staci! ;) I am glad to see that all is well & that you are busy enjoying life and that's why you haven't blogged. Yes, I totally get that. Sometimes I feel like my stitching is too dictated/wrapped up by my blogging and visa versa, and I constantly have to remind myself that they're both hobbies. Have fun, enjoy life, blog when you can. The socks look GREAT. Have a wonderful autumn! I can't wait to see what else you've been working on.
ReplyDeleteOh my... they're fan-bloody-tastic! I WANT those knee socks. And those legs.
ReplyDeleteYou know how I feel about your socks! They're wonderful, as always. I'm a very slow (think snail-type slow) sock-knitter, but my needles always have something on them. Hope fall is treating you kindly.
ReplyDeleteI hope to begin sock knitting this fall. Do I need to purchase blockers?
ReplyDeleteHa, ha!! Those red and grey striped Kroy Ragg socks are what's on my needles now! Spotted this new variety at Michael's Saturday and I couldn't resist. Also on sale, so I got the denim ragg too.
ReplyDeleteMissed you Staci. Nice socks and Snickers bars too ... all I need is a Midnight Milky Way and I would think I'm in heaven.

I totally feel the laziness. You can always post just photos of your projects!
ReplyDeleteThe socks, all of them, are really lovely.
Glad to see you back Staci... love the socks and your new fall background! :^)
ReplyDeleteWhat great socks, Staci. Love them!! Especially the ones packed up with the candy bar. Of course, the Snickers did not influence me in any way, lol. Grats on all of the progress!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic socks! Good to see you posting again!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back - you've been missed. You certainly are a sock demon - how I'd love to see how your needles fly in person!
ReplyDeleteLove those socks!
ReplyDeleteHOLY SOCKS BATMAN. o_0
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Awesome socks! And so glad you are back! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see you posting again! I always look forward to see your knitting finishes! Next month I am taking a toe up sock knitting class. Maybe that will get me going again!
