Christmas prep

Another ornie done, totally done.

Merry Christmas by

Carriage House Samplings

fabric: 18ct tea-dyed aida

fibers: my own selection (DMC variations?)

Sorry this photo isn't very good. But the fabric is really pretty, trust me. I bought it last year from Hobby Lobby and finally found a project to use it on~~hurray!

Hubby and I ran a few errands this morning and one of our stops was Borders. Alicia's new book was there. If you've never read her blog, do. You'll love it. I also picked up Susan's book. I have Itty-Bitty Hats, but didn't have a reason to get the nursery book (even though I tried to find one.) A friend is going to have a baby, a girl! So now the book is mine ;)

I also picked up a couple of ornament kits at Michaels for the kiddos. They're out of school all next week for Thanksgiving break, so thought that might entertain them for a couple of hours (I hope!)

Hubby is hanging Christmas lights outside while the weather is so nice. Nearly 80 degrees!

Thank you for all the Harvey-affection :) The elasticized ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The fabric I'm using for Parson Brown is a piece of remnant linen I tea-dyed...I love the way it turned out and probably won't be able to replicate it.
I've been tagged several times, and I swear I'm not ignoring you. Just have to think up some odd things about me, cuz you know there are so few, LOL!!!
