Happy Monday to You

Small, simple things bring a joy all their own. The quiet of a Monday morning when everyone is off to work and school. A newly finished pair of warm and comfy, cheerful wool socks. A thick, newly purchased classic novel. A fresh cup of hot tea.

And you, for stopping to visit :) I hope your week is full of small, joyful moments too!!!

  5. For me it's the moment when I get home from school and before I start working at my desk. First I make a cup of very strong tea, then I sit down, take my book and read a couple of pages. That is one of the best moments of my day. Enjoy yours.

  17. Hi Staci,

    Another small, joyful moment??
    A visit to your blog.

    Ahhhh...those socks are beautiful!
I love the colours and the pattern.
These are just so darn pretty.
Pardon me for gushing all over your
    blog here. :)

A hot cup of tea and a good book
sounds like something right up my
alley too. My goodness! War and
Peace. Now that's what I call
a NOVEL!! Let us know how it
goes. BTW: You're going to need more tea bags for this one.

One of the things I love about
you Staci is how you see things.
You see dish towels in the dollar
store and by the time you're done
with them they're worth a heck of
a lot more. Very sweet, very
    pretty, totally neat!

And more red work for your
    bedroom. Bliss!!

Your Stacy Nash pieces are so
    simple and dainty looking.
    Stitching like this always
makes me stop and look closer
because there is so much more
to them to be seen then first
meets the eye. The motifs aren't
    crowded together or overwhelming
    each other. You know??

Oh, and it sounds like you've
come up with your own catch
    phrase...

    Wishing you small, joyful moments
    every day....

    Cheers!

  27. The socks! Love, love the socks. Reading your blog has brought out my sock fetish. It's so great when you write about being at home. I'm living vicariously through you as I run off to spend the day with my entertaining young friends at school.

  28. I love the closing to your post. I felt a warmth and sincerity.

You remind me to take time to enjoy a book. I leave mine by the bedside and when I read at night, I'm really tired. I need to let myself follow your lead- read, tea, warm socks (which are like rainbow sherbet!)
