Ornament for Amy

Hello everyone! A thousand apologies that I've not been commenting on your blogs...I've been reading them and admiring all of your handiwork though. And a big Thank You for your continued visits and sweet comments here :) The first week of summer vacation has passed in a whirlwind of activity, and we are a very tired bunch around here. I'm hoping that this week sees the sort of slow-down I envision when thinking of summer.

Amy is May's recipient of the Christmas Ornament Swap. And since she listed snowmen and cardinals amongst her likes, I thought this was the perfect pattern to stitch :)

There are many of my blogging friends who are experiencing difficulties right now, and I just want them all to know that I'm keeping them in my thoughts and prayers and sending everyone lots of hugs.
Sending you all a little Colorado Sunshine, until next time...

  1. Oh what I wouldn't do for some of that Colorado Sunshine right now! I mean I have some Michigan sunshine but to me it's just not the same. I love how you finished the ornie. So precious. She'll love it always.

  4. Snowmen are one of my personal Christmas dislikes--but even I think this guy is great! The rickrack adds a nice touch of charm.

Lovely to hear form you again. This is a super Christmas ornament. It is cold and snowy here - just right for a "mid winter Christmas" so I'm envious of the Colorado sunshine.
