Old Glory

I finally got around to stitching this little kit that's been in my stash for 5 (or is it 6) years. Lovin' the patriotic bicycle bells I found in the Target $1 area for the boys ;)

Independence Day Roundabout

fabric: 32ct Natural Belfast linen (incl)

fibers: WDW and GAST (incl)

HIH charm (incl)

We left Colorado Springs and strolled and lunched in Old Colorado City. Then it was on to Ghost Town Museum. Here the kiddos watched movies the old-fashioned way...

And we panned for gold...

But since this is all we found, we left to find our riches elsewhere ;)

    We have a Ghost Town here in NC. DH likes to pan for gold. I love your finish!

    I love your little finish! I don't stitch patriotic designs (not being American and all that ;) ) but I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's patriotic stitching this year :)

    Another pretty patriotic finish, and I really like your scissors too! You got me in the mood, and I purchased LHN Liberty and Justice. We'll see if I get it stitched this year!

    What a cute post, Staci...love the panning for gold!! I have been wanting to do something patriotic, and I think I have this one. May have to stitch it, just wish I had those patriotic balls to go with it! LOL

    Love your finish Staci. Isn't it funny how things can be waiting in our stash piles and it takes us years to get there, and then when we stitch it, we absolutely love it?
