Old Valentines

I stitched these a couple years ago, before I started blogging. Back when I didn't keep track of project info. So, I have no idea who the designers are, or the fabric, or the threads. You get the idea. But I do seem to recall that I shamelessly tried to copy Harmien's colors for the one with the bird :) And I *think* these were freebie patterns...

I've pulled them out because I think it's high time I get them finish~finished so they can be displayed properly :) I've even pulled out some coordinating fabric from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods and for all your warm comments. Happy Tuesday!

  9. They're both pretty Staci! I think the red one was in SANQ a few years ago - it was definitely designed by Ruth Ann Russell, as I stitched it myself and have recorded that bit of info.

  11. Staci,
They are far too pretty to languish in a folder or drawer. It's such a nice feeling when you find just the right piece of fabric to finish too. Can't wait to see your romantic collection.

  21. Ruth Ann Russell from the February 2001 JCS magazine is the designer and where you can find it for 'I love Thee'. I did this one way back in Jan 2008, it was lovely to do, I really love your colour choices its such a romantic design and your colours are just perfect.
