Focusing

Good Morning Friends! I've worked myself out of my tizzy. It's good to know that I'm in good company...if there's so many of us that it affects, then we can't be crazy~~right???

I focused my efforts and got the dishcloths done first (since there was only one more left to knit and then ends woven in!)

And then I finished Sew Patchwork by Carol R. There was no deadline or anything, but I didn't really have that much left to stitch, and I knew I just wouldn't be able to ignore it :)

Such a sweet design. And I know exactly how I want to finish~finish it!

Sew Patchwork
by Carol R (istitchcharts)
fabric: 28ct "staci-dyed" evenweave
fiber: DMC 115

Thank You Lenka for giving me this award :) I really appreciate you thinking of me. I have trouble picking only 5 blogs to pass this on to beecause I subscribe to so many fabulous ones. So, feel free to help yourself to this award because I'm passing it on to whoever comes by here :)

I've begun my socks for February and am working on the heel of the first one :) Focusing can be sooo rewarding, lol!!! But today I will be focusing on our taxes. Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods. I'd send you some Colorado sun, but it's still dark, lol ;) Have a good one.

  1. Goodness Staci, are you really up at 4.30am?!

Love the dishcloths, I really need to get myself some of that cotton yarn and have a go. Sew Patchwork turned out beautifully, I think it's my favourite of Carol's designs.

I decided yesterday that I had to start focusing on 1-2 things rather than project-hopping and it seems to be working!

  47. Staci,
Are you sure these are dishcloths? They look far too pretty to be wrapped around a wet plate. How can you bear it. I would have to put them on display and get my old Jeyes cloth out :>)

Your list of jobs to do sounds like the inventory of a grand house in Victorian times. I can hear the housekeeper saying to herself....oh dear, dishcloths to knit, pillow cases to embroider samplers to stitch :>)

I hope things began to jostle themselves into order in your mind and you were feeling much more focused after your coffee :>)
