Love in a Basket

So I was thinking...insert massive warning sirens here. But wouldn't it be wonderful to have a basket like this for every holiday???

It's a start at least :) I chose backing fabrics from my stash. They aren't Valentine-y, but I think they complement the fronts nicely.

Sending you lots of love and hugs and warm fuzzies and syrupy thoughts and everything chocolate for Valentine's Day!!!

  1. WOW! These are gorgeous Staci! I love your backing fabrics.

Ever since I saw your Patriotic basket of goodies I was thinking the very same thought! Unfortunately it didn't happen for Valentine's Day, but maybe I'll make it for summer.

Wishing you everything chocolate too. Happy Valentine's Day!

Would you put me out of my misery and tell me, please? *puppy eyes*

Look at Plum Street Sampler's latest post also, it would be a great addition to your Valentine basket. I also have started on a 4th of July bastet last year.

I think making smalls are addictive as I have been on a kick of doing smalls as well.
Your stitching is soooo neat. Do you use a stitching stand, hoop, Qsnap or just stitch in hand? I know they are beautiful!!!

  53. Hi Staci,

Happy Valentine's - belated but still heart felt. Hope your sweetie was good to you.

Every time I see a basket full
of smalls, whether it be your
own or those made by any other stitcher, I get so fired up
    wanting to make my own
    collection of smalls. I've
    gotta start looking for
    finishing materials first,
which will be a good start.

    Your Valentines basket is
    coming along nicely with five
    lovely finishes. That ABC one
on the left, at the back is my
    favorite. Very sweet and dainty.

    Have a great week Staci!!

    Cheers!
