I've been knitting~~of course! Socks~~naturally! I finished a "plain" pair of mis-matched stripey ones...
56 stitch basic stockinette sock
size: women's sm/med
yarn: Sassy Stripes by Cascade Yarns,
color # 765
2 skeins: 50g/200m
needles: size 2 dpn's
I finished a pair of anklets today, but no pic yet because it's snowing (again!) I'll take one when there's better lighting :) But I do have a photo of another stripey sock in progress. I'm completely copying this one. Noro yarn, 5 row stripes, one ball~~knit alternating with one end from inside and one end from outside of ball...
I've been getting lots of sock-knitting questions...and I've found some sites that you might find helpful:
Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods and for all your wonderful comments! Happy Knitting :)

Hi Staci, glad your ribbon found a good home. Love your new socks - your needles seem to be flying!
I love your socks! I've never used Noro sock yarn. How do you like it? The color changes are gorgeous.
The red and blue stripies don't seem "mis-matched" to me. All of my socks turn out that way!
I love your socks, and I think you should get an award for most beautiful sock wardrobe! Lovely knitting Staci!
I don't knit but I love seeing all your socks. Your yarn always looks so pretty!
Snow??? So sorry...hopefully spring will arrive soon.
What wonderful socks!
mis-matched stipes or not, they look wonderful !
Beautiful socks!
You are the Queen of Socks Staci, just gorgeous!

Congrats to Blu! Love the socks WIP, Staci. Thanks for the links. My daughter is a wanna be knitter and I'll pass them onto her. Have a great day!

Yummy socks Staci. I love the new ones.
Love the red & blue socks... my old high school colors!
Congrats to Blu. Ribbons are so much fun to play with.
And it's really time to say goodbye to that snow. Hope spring comes soon to you guys.

The socks are adorable! I wish I could knit.....Nancy
Wonderful socks Staci. Thank you for the useful links.
Hello Staci !
Wow, again you did a wonderful job with socks, I'm waiting for the sun to come, I plan to spend the spring time gardening and making progresses on knitting ^^
So thanks a lot for the links, I'm sure they will be a great help, even if my poor brain is smoking trying to translate LOL
Hugs+++
Love the socks Staci and thank you for the links - they will be helpful.
Cool socks, thanks for the links, you never know i might just be able to try a pair on 4 needles after following one of these links!
I just love, love your socks! Don't you just love that Noro yarn. It's got to be one of my favorites - they have some great colors!!
I absolutely adore seeing all your sock creations Staci!
Wow! Warm toes everyday in your house :) Lovely colours!
I love the colorway of the finished pair and the Noro socks are going to be stunning!
I have some Noro sock in my stash but haven't knit it yet--you'll have to let me know how it washes up.
Hi Staci,
You know, if you hadn't pointed out
that those striped socks were mis-
matched I would never have noticed.
And I'm sure that once they're being
worn on someone's feet no one else
will notice either. They look quite
pretty and cozy to me.
The graduated color changes in the
pair of socks that you're stitcing
now look quite interesting and I
look forward to seeing the finished
pair.
The combination of your beautifully
knitted wash clothes and those very
pretty gift tags from Michaels will
make the lucky recipients very
happy I'm sure. They don't even
need to be wrapped because the
wonderful colors plus the tags and
the ribbon tied into bows looks
makes for a terrific combination
as is.
Those Brewster socks in that
delicious "Fabulous Fall" color
are gorgeous!!! Love that color!!
I love the ribbing worked into
the pattern and they are a great
color combination too.
I'm glad to see some of your
cross stitching too. The Pin
cushion that you made for Paula
is a cute design. The black thread
really shows up nicely on your
Staci dyed evenweave fabric and
the black beaded edges finish the
whole piece nicely.
You're still getting snow?? We've
been getting rain lately although
today was an absolutely gorgeous
day with lots of sunshine and warm
temperatures. Of course since it
was a work day we didn't really
have a chance to enjoy it as much
as we would have liked.
Any time you need thread wound
onto bobbins give me a shout and
I'll come right down and give you
a hand with it. It beats working!
Cheers!
More wonderful socks, I have bought some Sirdar Click to do another pair. Love the Noro. x
beautiful work, Staci!
Beautiful as always. :)
