Something old, something new...

Welcome to my little piece of cyberspace! As a result of so many creative and talented people and so many clever and inspiring blogs, I've decided to give it a try. I hope that you will accompany me as I share some of my interests and stretch my minimal computer skills!

So first up, something old; Look at these fabulous iron-on transfers I found at my fave thrift store! There are 2 uncut sheets and 6 cut sheets...but I think all the cut up pieces are there. I do believe those little birdies on the top will be making their way onto some pillowcases :)

Something new; my new sock project with a new-to-me yarn. It's Aktion by Lang and it comes with a matching spool of reinforcement thread. This is just a basic women's sock, sz 1 dpn's, 56 st. The color in the pic is pretty accurate.

I can't think of anything borrowed off hand but I do have something blue. I haven't seen this project on any blogs yet, surprisingly...it's Winter Symphony by LHN and it was in the Feb 08 issue of Just Cross Stitch.
