They've all been received

So now I can show you what was in the PIF packages :)

I know, how un-original...floss tags. Are you tired of them?

Quaker time by
Gencat
fabric: 32ct lambswool linen
fiber: DMC 115

back

And a close up of the scissors with their tags.
I love this grosgrain ribbon.
The letters remind me of old fashioned typeface.
I sewed vintage metal buttons from my stash to hold the ends together.
(The pictures should be clickable for a closer view.)

Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods :)
The weekend is so close, I can almost taste it!

And I love mine, very much! The stitching couldn't have been more perfect! It's the first handmade floss tag I've ever owned. The tag on the scissors was a nice, nice touch. Thank you again Staci! :)

Your finishing is so perfect. I think it's so hard to do a shape that isn't square. You've really mastered it. And the scissors fobs are a really clever idea.

Hi Staci,

I've been enjoying my floss tag
so much since it arrived last
week. My favourite colour is
red, and this finish is wonderful.
So much thought and imagination
went into this project, and I
really appreciate your thoughtful-
ness.

I absolutely love that pear finish
that you did for Vonna too! Trust
you to come up with such a neat
ornament for the exchange. Is the
pear stitched onto the backing
material (felt?).

You mentioned improving your sewing
skills. Are you planning to take
a class or something?? When you
sew your finished pieces do you
hand sew or use a machine...or
perhaps both???

Thank you again for the wonderful
gift. I'm beaming with delight
here....really....you can read by
the glow! :)

Cheers!
