Catching Up

Hello dear friends, I hope your Christmas was merry! After much preparation, the day always seems to pass with the blink of an eye :) And while I love the lights and decorations and sounds of Christmas...after being surrounded by it all for an entire month, I'm always ready to get back to "normal". So yes, I'm one of those crazy people who pack everything up the day after!

But before old Father Time arrives, I have a few final Christmas finishes to share. The final ornament of 2008, and I think my favorite :)

And these gorgeous ornaments were stitched and finished by my sister! She just learned to stitch a couple of months ago...can you believe it??? I just can't tell you how exciting it is to me that she has taken up stitching!!!
And this was the final knitted gift...the always useful, happily received dishcloths with a couple of festive dishtowels.

I have more finished things to share, so be sure to come back! And my regular blog reading and commenting will commence too :) Wishing you all a very happy and safe New Year's...see you in 2009!!!

The ornaments are really beautiful. Isn't it great to have a stitching sister? I can't believe that she learned to stitch so shortly ago - and has already finished such beautiful ornaments. Congratulations to her!

Wonderful ornaments! And your knitted gift makes me wanna pick up that habit again. Does your sister have any idea what's in store for her? You've really put all the Christmas things away already? You're a busy girl.
