XO~XO

Laura has received the Valentine Exchange I made her for the HoE. I really had a lot of fun making this little pincushion :)

Hugs and Kisses freebie by

Erica Michaels

fabric: 32ct cream Belfast Linen

fibers: GAST and WDW, my selection

filled with poly-pellets

For a special touch: a ribbon tag :)

I haven't been able to locate this freebie online. Does anyone know if it's still available? You can see the extras I sent on Laura's blog. I thought I was cutting back on my committments, but January has me seeing 2 exchanges and 2 gifts, LOL! Ah well, keeps me out of trouble (sort of!)

I finished the green vest. Just need to sew the button on. So stay tuned. Sending you all a little Colorado sunshine...Have a Wonderful Weekend!!!

Hi Staci,

This is such a cute pincushion
finish!! The various shades of
pink are lovely together and the
tic tac toe design is classic.

"Lo" is looking so delicate and
sweet, and if there's a mistake
on it I sure can't see it. Ah
well, we all have our moments!

You've been knitting up a storm
as well I see. That green vest
is going to be stunning and I
can't wait to see it completed.

And look at all that sock wool
waiting to be fashioned into
multiple pairs of rainbow hued
footwear.

However do you choose which one
to knit with next?? Close your eyes, stick out your hand and
pluck the winner out from the
pile?

You can knit and read at the
same time??? I could never
do that. I get too caught up
in whatever book I'm reading
to be able to do anything
else at the same time, other
then breathing that is.

I'm glad to hear that your
Dad is doing well after his
surgery. Please add my best
wishes to all the others that
have been sent his way.

Is it as cold where you are
as it is here??? Definitely
time to hibernate and stitch!

Cheers!!

Hugs,
Carolyn :)

Hi Staci,

That sure is a cute pincushion! I, too, would like the chart. I e-mailed Erica Michaels about the pattern and here is the reply I received:

Sorry - that design was retired a number of years ago. I think they only way you might find it is with a shop that might still have copies to distribute, etc.
Good luck!

So, Staci, if you would like to share the chart with all of us stitchers maybe you could e-mail Erica Michaels and get permission to do so.....

An adorable pincushion Staci! Why is it that the charts we just have to have are those already retired? LOL
I could do with some hugs and kisses - I feel so yuk!

Hi Staci,

I just cannot get over this design and must have it. I have decided that I will try to chart it myself. Can you give me the colors you used...they are perfect.

Thanks
