I finished the Noro socks and took a quick pic outside during last week's blizzard. I did it before the snow and wind really picked up...when I could barely see the house across the street. Luck was on my side because these socks match almost as perfectly as you can get 2 Noro things to match~~and it was all by chance :) Click on the pictures to get a better look...
56 stitch basic stockinette sockwomen's size small/med
needles: size 2 dpn's
yarn: Noro Kureyon Sock, color #S185
I knit these a little longer than I usually do. I wanted to use as much of the skein as I could (I still have almost half a skein left.) And sometimes you just need a bit of color peeking out from your boots, lol!
After the Noro socks were finished I whipped up another quick pair...size women's small/med
needles: size 2 dpn's
yarn: Walk Away by Yarn Bee, color #02 Footsy
I hope your weekend has been lovely ;) We didn't get our forecasted snowstorm this weekend. Yesterday the wind was freezing cold, but today is blue skies and sunshine! Sending you all a little Colorado Sunshine!!!

Keep warm and safe Staci!

Nice socks! At least if the weather is frightful, you have rainbows on your feet!
Those socks are wonderful and you whip them up so fast.
Your socks are so beautiful.
Good that the snowstorm missed you. Not very funny at this time of the year.
Staci. They are wonderful. Wish I could knit that quickly! lol
These socks are gorgeous. Love the color of both pair of socks.
Those are really quite lovely! I can picture them on my feet!!! ;-)
Such snuggly pretty socks! I'm green with envy of your knitting skills! You do great work.
Staci,
What pretty socks and how great that they match so well.
Those are some cool socks! Love them!
I love these socks. Every time I see a "sock post" from you I think...some day, some day. And that day never comes. I am just terrified of making heels. I'm a righty who knits like a lefty. I've been told this is the "Norwegian style" so no one can show me how to turn the heels properly.
Your socks are so fun!!!!
Love your socks!
Stay safe and warm!
Love the socks !
Beautiful beautiful beautiful socks! Very funny and very lovely :)
I love your socks - both pairs! You must have very happy feet.
I just can't imagine snow. Here everything is in bloom. Maybe I can send some spring your way.
I love your socks - perfect for a blizzard!
I love all the socks you make!
thanks for sending us some Colorado sunshine:)

Your cleverness with needles never cease to amaze me! Darn, I should be able to knit basic socks, shouldn't I? I love that Noro yarn. Gorgeous, gorgeous colour!
I'm so wild for your socks!
I just love those socks! Fabulous!
Really nice socks! I took a learn-to-knit class awhile back, and I enjoyed it, but kept thinking while I was knitting, "Ya know, I could be cross-stitching right now." So I don't knit anymore.
Cool blue boots, too!
I just love your socks, I wish i could knit, my feet are always cold, especially when I
i'm having a flare up. I'm sure these would keep them snug
I love that you not only finished one pair of socks - you "whipped up" another pair!! You must be a fast knitter! I plodded- as opposed to "whipped up" the last pair of socks I made. Good for you!! :)
