One of my projects from my computer-less days :) I've loved this pattern from the moment I first laid eyes on it. I've really enjoyed looking at it during the holidays...one of my few cross stitch finishes that doesn't adorn the tree, lol ;)
I filled it with poly-pellets. I wanted it to have that heavy, weighty look and feel...and I'm so pleased with it. The back is just some green/cream plaid calico I had in my stash. I was really hoping to use some nice wool on the back, but nothing from my stash matched!

One of my favorites. Now I wonder why I don't have it in my stash?!! Love the backing fabric.
So very pretty! I love the french knots on the tree.
Very cute! I love the tree! The backing fabric you selected suits it very well.
love it finished!
mine just looks at me from the stack of undones
similar to the island of misfits
i will accomplish it someday
yours is a good motivator!
have a happy new year week.
thanks for all the inspiration over the last 2 years......and thanks in advance for all the future inspirations
I was just wondering with the first picture whether the linen was 'staci-dyed' (are you going to copyright that?) and indeed it is. It looks very pretty and this piece is just gorgeous. Wish I had stitched it myself! ;-)
What a lovely finish!! And certainly one that can be left out for all the winter months! Would you email the name of the pattern if you get a chance. I can't place this one. Thanks!
Very cute Staci! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas!
Oh... very-very beautiful!!!! :)
That is really beautiful Staci!
Very cute! Hadn't seen this pattern before.
very pretty Staci! Great finish!!!!
What a neat finish! Staci
Oh Staci,
It is beautiful and I love the fabric you have stitched it on. Does it have a very slight pink tone to it? It's got a very faint warmth which compliments both the red of the lettering and the dark chocolate of the reindeer.
Thankfully, with a birthday coming up I can begin a new wish list...haha!
There is always something pretty to look at on your blog!
Hugs Angela xx
Very pretty finish! Love the backing fabric; it just adds so much to the finished stitching!
I love this design too - mine is a pillow and gracing a favorite chair for winter. Enjoy!!

This is gorgeous!!!!!
How beautiful! Great finish, Staci.
I just love it, this is just such a cute design. I need to stitch it too. Great job!
Love the idea of putting some "weight" to it with the pellets. I'd love to try that with some scented material, like cedar chips perhaps. Beautiful design!
It's really beautiful, what a great finish!
Perfect for the season. Those Sampler Girl patterns are so simple, yet so effective.
Very cute. I love the way you finish things off.
I love that 'computerless days'...remember those? When we actually had to go to a shop to snoop around? wait...we still do that..nevermind. I love how it turned out! :)
It's beautiful!
That is such a pretty little pillow. We are on the same page these days. I made my last stitch into a little Christmas pillow too.
Very beautiful really!!!
What a lovely finish Staci! I have liked this one too but have yet to stitch it, I really need to remedy that!
LOvely ! and I like the fabric you stitched it on !!
A darling finish :)
Merry Christmas (late...sorry!)!
That finish looks wonderful. This is such a wonderful design.
Very cute!
I really like this one. I may have to break my rule and order it. Of course, if I order it before Jan 1st, then I am not breaking my rule...
I love it, too. Going looking for it now - even after Christmas! It's for Winter; right? ;-)
Simply splendid!
The pattern is gorgeous and your stitching and finishing, too. I was always wanting to buy this pattern and then I won it in Corinna's giveaway. So I'll stitch it this winter, too.
That is SOOOOO cute!! I have a nice stash of SN designs but haven't stitched one yet. I really need to remedy that. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love your finish...very pretty!
One of my favourite Stacy Nash designs.
You've stitched and finished it so beautifully. Love it!
Margaret
