Old Valentines

I stitched these a couple years ago, before I started blogging. Back when I didn't keep track of project info. So, I have no idea who the designers are, or the fabric, or the threads. You get the idea. But I do seem to recall that I shamelessly tried to copy Harmien's colors for the one with the bird :) And I *think* these were freebie patterns...

I've pulled them out because I think it's high time I get them finish~finished so they can be displayed properly :) I've even pulled out some coordinating fabric from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods and for all your warm comments. Happy Tuesday!

What? More Valentine finishes, Staci? You do realise I will never get to working on my current WIPs if you keep posting these, don't you? Visit my blog if you don't understand what I'm going on about...

Also the scissors are really good )) Oh, I have broken my the onliest cross-stitch scissors a few days ago (my American friend has been sharing them with me a few years ago), and now I have not a chance to get another ones even((((

Those are precious! Love must be in the air.

They're both pretty Staci! I think the red one was in SANQ a few years ago - it was definitely designed by Ruth Ann Russell, as I stitched it myself and have recorded that bit of info.

Staci,
They are far too pretty to languish in a folder or drawer. It's such a nice feeling when you find just the right piece of fabric to finish too. Can't wait to see your romantic collection.

They're both lovely. I recognise the Midsummer Night Designs one, think I have that printed off and put away although where is another matter! I love the other one, I haven't seen it before. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with both.

Ruth Ann Russell from the February 2001 JCS magazine is the designer and where you can find it for 'I love Thee'. I did this one way back in Jan 2008, it was lovely to do, I really love your colour choices its such a romantic design and your colours are just perfect.

They are both beautiful Staci! I was looking through my free Valentine patterns today, and I have the one with the bird, but I can't remember who the designer is. Anyway, you did a lovely job, and I can't wait to see how you finish these.

Oh I love them both and you are the cause of my stitching list growing ever so long and intimidating (sigh). Now I just need to find some stitching time. Speaking of which, back to my homework. Thanks for an 'enabling' break.
