Risking my life...

to bring you today's post. In case you're wondering, read here. It's a good thing she lives on the other side of the pond, because she might try to tie me up with that yarn of hers. Uh-oh, I seem to remember (vaguely) that she might have a voodoo doll.

Baktus scarf
freebie pattern here (ravelry link)
yarn: Kureyon Sock Yarn by Noro, color #S188
1 skein: 100gr/420m
needles: size 3 straights

If I go missing, knock on Annemarie's door first..... But I do believe I'm safe, last I checked she was contentedly slurping coffee and stitching ;)

Oh Staci, it is just beautiful. I could use a scarf today as they are calling for snow in our little part of the world.

Apart from oodles of talent, you also happen to possess an uncanny memory... I do indeed own a voodoo doll :o) Have no fear, though, I won't be using it on you. You're too much of an inspirator and all-round nice person. Annnnnnnnnd... I made some changes here and there and, well, I'm planning a blog post tomorrow about a certain new start (no finish yet).

I love, *love*, LOVE this Baktus. Beautiful colours. Do I see any more Baktuses/Bakti in your future?

Hi Staci,

This is a beautiful scarf!! I love
how the colors flow one into another.
Actually it looks like a combination
of scarf and shawl which is pretty
neat. I've never seen anything like
it before.

Just read Annemarie's post. Oh dear!!

I can understand her frustration
because my dear Staci you make it
all look so easy and doable. Plus
you are super quick with starting
and finishing these things. You've
even got me thinking about taking a
knitting class, and I've got ten
very big thumbs to work with. Shame
on you!! :)

Your French Valentine looks
amazing! That V is such a
brilliant design. And your new
scissors are fantastic! I am
particularly enchanted with the
pair on the left which sort of
look gothic to me.

It's nice that you're going to
finish off the two "old"
Valentine's designs because they
are so sweet and it's a shame to
leave them unappreciated in a
drawer. Can't wait to see what
you'll do with them.

Cheers!

Thank goodness A's bark is worse than her bite LOL.
Beautiful new scarf.
Thank goodness I don't knit. I don't think I can fit in another hobby.

Oh so beautiful. When I see all the wonderful knitting projects on you blog and on those of other knitters I want to get retired as fast as possible to have more time for a new hobby, lol.
