For Harmien...

AKA: "the crazy cat lady".  LOL  ;)  I really don't think she's crazy, but I do know how much she loves her little felines.  I had marked this pattern when I first saw it for her bday.  Then promptly forgot about it and came across it again recently.  Unbeknownst to Harmien, I was stitching this when she sent me pics of a darling newborn kitten who will come and live with her in the near future  :)

On the back:  a small patch of calico and a brass button recycled from an old pair of jeans (sewn with reverse side facing.)

from the book:
fabric:  28ct "staci-dyed" evenweave
fiber:  DMC #340
mill hill seed beads #02009
filled with crushed walnut shells

So cute and what a sweet way to welcome the new kitty to the household.

Tell me about crushed walnut shells as "stuffing". Do you make them? Buy them? Are they better than fluff stuffing?

Inquiring minds want to know...LOL

Seriously too cute! lol! Harmien must be over the moon. I just love these little pillows you make, Staci--you know how much, lol! I think this one is safe from my pilfering ways--For Now! ;)

The star reminds me of the ones in PS's "When Witches" that I'm working on.

A gorgeous pillow Stacy! Love the use of the jeans button (note to self cut off the button before ditching old jeans)

I cannot believe the word verification on this actually says 'sorebuns'!

I've been lurking on your blog for awhile now but haven't had a lot of time for commenting. As a fellow cat lover though I couldn't resist this adorable finish! You've done a lovely job and that calico fabric with button is such a unique touch!
