Hello Autumn

I participated in the Private Autumn Exchange that BeckySC hosted.
And how lucky am I that Becky had my name?
Super-de-Duper LUCKY!!!
Becky really spoiled me with 4 of the most darling and perfectly finished items.
I absolutely adore them all.
Thank you Becky from the bottom of my heart :)

Aren't they just the cutest???

Remember when I said good bye to summer?
I guess if you say good bye to summer,
then you have to say Hello Autumn...
Made exactly the same as my "Good-Bye Summer" socks,
except with fall-ish colors.

56st basic stockinette socks
w/a twisted rib cuff and reinforced heels
size: women's sm/med
yarn:  Patons Kroy Socks, color #55614 Burnished Sierra Stripes
2 skeins:  50g/166yds
needles:  size 3.0 dpns

I am really loving my current before school project...I don't want to put it down and I'm constantly thinking about it when I'm not working on it :)

The pattern (Simply Ginny socks~~ravelry link) and the yarn (a yummy soft blend of alpaca, merino wool and bamboo) are a match made in heaven!

Now I'm off to catch up on my google reader (again!)
Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods,
Happy Monday!

Love all of those lovely autumn treats. The socks are the best. There is nothing like a pair of hand knit socks to keep those feet warm. Beautiful work.

I feel so fallish after reading your post! You certainly hit the jackpot with Becky's gifts. I especially love the sunflower and bird - reminds me of the little bird you stitched from the Reader's Digest book some time back. The socks look so cozy, and I can see why you can't put your current project down.

Lovely autumn socks. Now I'm curious to know just how many pairs of socks you have!
I know they don't last forever but even so I think you must have quite a few pairs :)
