Victorian Inspired Pinkeep

Often times I start a project with an end result in mind......and sometimes things just don't work out, so I have to improvise (which can be difficult with my Type A personality!) Happily, this pinkeep has turned out exactly as I hoped it would. I wanted the finishing to have the same Victorian flavor as the design. I finished it for the Monthly Finishing Challenge.

Just Cross Stitch, August 2007
32 ct oyster linen
DMC 3371 & 503
Czech glass beads

Anyway back to business, I love the style of work that you do Staci and this Pinkeep is no exception, the rose fabric on the reverse is just so perfect :) I enjoyed your tutorial for the thread holder thanks for that. It is added to my list of ' I will do one of them too ' :)

Staci, could you please, please, please e-mail me please at anvladar at yahoo dot com, please, please, please? I don't have your e-mail address and I want to thank you, profusely, for your wonderful package that I've just received, and I think I may need a little more space to do so than this comment section.
Which, of course, is meant for comments on your blog :o) Your Victorian pinkeep is a marvel. Love those colours!
