Friend Gifties

I was originally going for pink...but this yarn with it's shades of berries and plums kept waving to me from the shelf of the yarn store. I knit these for a dear friend who is fighting breast cancer. She is a knitter-extraordinaire and a well of creativity and generosity. She's an inspiration with her courage and strength, her grace and good humor...

Hi Staci,

Beautiful socks!! Incredible
juicy colours!! You mean you
knit too?? Oh my!! These
will be so cozy and warm for
your friend, not to mention
brightening her day whenever
she puts them on. Very, very
nice.

Your little fob for Becky is
very pretty, and I'm sure she
will be thrilled to receive
it. She's a legend in the
stitching/blog world I think,
and is always doing things
for everyone else. So it's
nice that you've made this
for her in return. Very
thoughtful.

Cheers!
