Little Reindeer

As soon as I saw these little reindeer patterns, I knew I wanted to stitch them as ornaments for the boys.

fabric: 32ct Cashel Relic by Picture This Plus
fiber: Crescent Colours Brandied Pears

Youngest's
Reindeer freebie by
Sharon Bennet (Daffycat Designs) found here
fabric: 32ct Cashel Relic by Picture This Plus
fiber: GAST Tarnished Gold

I used suede cord for the hangers and stuffed them with softwood shavings. They have a crunchy, vintage feel but are are still very lightweight. And they smell like fresh-cut wood :) You can find softwood shavings at a rancher's supply store (with the horse stuff.)

It's very cold here......it was -6 when I took the kiddos to school this morning! So, stay warm dear friends!!!

What a great idea to stitch those 2 as companion pieces. You always have such a good eye for what works.
