I used suede cord for the hangers and stuffed them with softwood shavings. They have a crunchy, vintage feel but are are still very lightweight. And they smell like fresh-cut wood :) You can find softwood shavings at a rancher's supply store (with the horse stuff.)
It's very cold here......it was -6 when I took the kiddos to school this morning! So, stay warm dear friends!!!
