Happy Wednesday All! The winner of Joy in the Journey is The Scarlett House! Please email me your snail mail so I can get your booklet out to you :) Thank you everyone for sharing your joys, it seems we all have much in common.
I seem to have some production knitting going on around here. Since there's always a pair, or in this case 3, of socks on the needles......gratuitous sock WIP pic. And curiously enough, they all seem to be at the same progress point, hmmm.
More washcloths. They're a good project for keeping the hands busy without any brain effort :)
I did a set in basket-weave. Which lets me be even more lazy because then I don't have to drag out a measuring tape ;)

Love your basket of socks WIPs. It's so pretty and colorful, and it makes me anticipate the cooler weather! The washcloths and soaps is such a beautiful package! What a wonderful idea. Your work is always so gorgeous.
I love that basketweave washcloth! Your hands are never idle!
Ohh! I seen christmas presents looming on the horizon!!
How about posting up a pattern aka small instructional on those basket-weave cloths! I'm a newbie knitter and all I can make is a rectangle that curls into a tube!! But, I sure would love to make those! lol
Bet they don't curl...
I am a crochet veteran, however...so I wonder at my slow learning curve!
Someday, I'd love to make chunky "house-socks!"
lol..."I seen". Ah, clumsy fingers!
Staci...you are so patient to deal with socks! Too many double-pointed needles for me to handle. lol I love your washclothes/soap bundles. Makes me want to knit some of those up!
the sox and washcloths are so beautiful and oh so yummy looking soaps!:)
Congrats, Tanya!
Love the colors of the socks and I think the cloths and soap will make wonderful gifts.
Thanks for sharing the link for the Wedding Cloths in an earlier post, I have it printed and am going to try them this weekend :)
Congratulations to The Scarlett House.
I agree with Berit - please post the basket weave pattern. I need something easy to see if, after my hand surgeries, I can knit again!
Love your gift packages!
Hi, found your sweet comment on my blog, thanks for stopping by! There is just something about a basket filled with soaps and knitted cloths! What a wonderful gift. Enjoyed visiting. blessings,Kathleen
I love your washcloths, they looks so soft and pretty.
What a pretty basket of knittin'. And the washcloths and soaps are great gifts! So charming.
Dear staci,
I found my way via Ninas (between crosses) blog and I found your wonderful works. Of course there are the stitchings I love most (because it is my favourit "waste of time") but either your knitted and sewed works are sooo beautiful!
Love from Austria
Hilda
How cool! I wish I could knit something other than wonky scarves (I probably say that in the comments of every knitting post that you do!) because I am sure the washcloths & soaps make a wonderful gift. Such a neat idea. Love the socks, too!
You killed me with the patriotic stitching pics, now it's the floss tags. I need to go lie down and take a few deep breaths. ;)
as always, beautiful pictures!!! I love the dishcloths & soap in the basket. What pretty gifts!!!! I am sure they are so appreciated!
Congrats to the winner. What a lovely gift she will receive!!! NICE!
OOOhhh your washcloth & soap set are so neat ... not sure if I can live without one or two any chance you'll be selling any? If so here is my email address: Pkeller4@comcast.net
If not :( where at least can I get a soap or two?
Love your blog, very inspiring!
Kathy
Boy, girl I go away for a few weeks and come back and WOW!!! Your knitting needles have been flying. What lovely gifts you have put together with your cloths and the soaps.
Love those socks. My Dad is a big fan of knit socks. Thank goodness hospital tuck shops often sell them lol.
Handmade wash cloths and soap - what a very special gift package that makes. I love this idea.
Congrats to the winner.
Adorable socks!!
