I'm thrilled with the results! Warm and cozy, happy and colorful. And stripey! And so, so easy!!! These knit up quickly while watching those murderous Midsomer folk.
The pattern is mine. A first for me even though I've been knitting for a very long time. I've written it up, but admittedly, I'm pretty nervous. What if no one understands it? Or worse yet, what if no one even likes it...

Oh my goodness, I do love those! Very clever. I wonder if I will be able to do the thumbs? Am liking the colours very much indeed. It's a gorgeous patten - I would love to have it. Very nice indeed. Thanks for showing them.

They are beautiful and I'm sure many knitters will want to make them. But my skinny fingers need some cover! My hands get too cold to keep my fingers exposed.

Oh, what wonderful stripey goodness! Love your gloves Staci. Maybe I should try knitting gloves they might be a little easier on my minimal knitting skills than socks.

Oh they are awesome!!! These are one of the reasons I'm learning to kit, I want long fingerless mitts to keep me warm in the Winter.
Yes, not much of a winter in Houston, but it does get chilly and most of my shirts are short sleeves.

I just love these! Just perfect for those chilly days and open enough to still be able to stitch! Makes me want to learn knitting even more now!
I agree with Missy Ann....publish the pattern! I love your wrist warmers...and would like to make myself a pair. My hands get super cold in the winter and the only way I can type at work is to wear fingerless gloves. They look so comfy and toasty warm!

I was the same when I saw Lucy's blog, I must make some for next winter. I knitted some other ones for our winter and lived in them. Love your pattern and the stripes are very cool.

Those turned out really nice! I just dug out some that I made a few years ago. Not as long as those are though. I know I have another pair around here somewhere. If you would like a test knitter for your pattern, I will happily volunteer =)
Wow! I love these! Wish I could knit as they would look great to 'hide' my support gloves I have to wear right now for my illness. Humm...I might have to show my mother these...lol.

Those are awesome! Don't be so hard on yourself! I only use the machine to knit and thats pretty basic things too. If I could knit i would definitely use your pattern and make a pair of my own. My mom knits though, i wonder if i could get her to make me a pair....though I have always wanted a pair of knitted socks too....

No fear of people not liking your beautiful design! You might even get this former knitter back at the needles (especially since I have a frogging job on my cross stitch facing me and it would be nice to have a diversion...)
