Good Morning dear readers, I can't believe it's a new week already! This has to be one of my favorite ways to start the week: a new pair of stripey, wooley socks and a fresh cup of coffee :)
56 stitch basic stockinette sock, women's sm/medyarn: Berroco Sox, color #1425
needles: size 2 dpn's
I've been enjoying my morning coffee from this vintage Pyrex cup I found last Friday at one of the local thrift shops, mmmm.....
I hope your week is off to a fantastic start as well!!!

Oh nice socks. Lovely way to start the week indeed.
I'm enjoying a cup of coffee with you Staci. Those socks would definitely give me a happy day!
Have a good week, a nice way to start it off i agree.
Love the socks! I think we had a set of those cups in our kitchen when I was growing up!
Nothing like a pair of stripey socks to keep thy feet warm and a cup of java for the mojo. Striped wool is so fun to work up. be always in stitches
Oh, do I love those socks. I'm too chicken to try those, but they sure look comfortable. And what a blast from the past on the cups - my mom used to have a set of those when I was young - everything at that time was in that avocado green!
Lovely socks and a lovely mug too...:)
I've got some fresh from the oven pumpkin loaf to go with that coffee Staci. I'll trade a loaf for a pair of socks!
oooh, I love those socks!
ooooh love the socks and the cut coffee cup. I am a collector of coffee mugs/cups. awesome find you have there. I hope you enjoy your day,Kimberly
Great socks! I wonder why Pyrex went out of fashion?
Staci,
Your socks are so pretty. I love the colors in them.
Oh, the socks! I feel rather faint just thinking about how they must feel. They're fabulous.
Nice socks!!!!! I sure need a pair right now!!! It is really getting cooler here.....
Love your new cup!!! These vintage things do have their charm, don't they?
Ahhhh!!! You are driving me nuts with envy with all these socks. They are lovely - no - gorgeous. Just wish they were mine lol. x
I love those pyrex cups too! I swear I could have a house twice as big and still have it bursting the seams...
Love the socks Staci and THAT mug - I remember it from when I was a child! Gosh it must be really old.....
Staci, I always love seeing pictures of the socks that you knit. Wish that I had the patience to learn how to knit. Love the cup too. Finds like that are always great. Take care.
Love the socks! We have had two days of snow on the hills (yes yes I know it is Spring here but the weather man hasn't caught up yet) so my handknitted winter woolly socks have been in use again. have a great day
Great socks! It's just getting cool enough here to need to wear shoes - so my socks are out and rockin' :O)
Very nice and jolly socks! :)
Those socks are great. Is that yarn Lion magic stripes? Sort of looks like it.I have used thier yarn a lot.Red Heart has a nice 'heart and sole' line if one is knitting on the less expensive side. I have recently used Opal but it's pricey.
Excuse my earlier comment. I see now the yarn brand. *blushing*. I use a basic 56 stitch pattern too. Easiest sock pattern I've ever used!
Love the socks - they are so pretty!
Staci, you are doing me no favors with all the gorgeous pictures of your lovely and cozy looking socks! I don't have time for a new hobby. Where am I supposed to fit "learning to knit" into my days already packed with childcare, housework, studying, classes, homework, and (if I'm lucky), cross stitch?! And yet every time I come across yet another delicious pair of Staci socks my little heart goes aflutter with yearning to slip my chilly feet into a pair as absolutely adorable as yours! :)
