Snow Day

Good Morning dear friends! It's a cold and snowy one here. No school today, so it's pajama day:) This is the earliest snow day since I've had school age kids. Our district was one of the very few in the area that were open yesterday.

No more teasing here's the finish...

Old Testament Ornaments
designed by Mary Beale
Christmas Traditions by Leisure Arts
fabric: 32ct "staci-dyed" linen
fibers: DMC
(more info about the book in yesterday's post)

And here's a couple pics from my window. These were taken yesterday afternoon and it's been snowing ever since. If you click on them, you might be able to make out the flakes falling...big fluffy ones!

Thanks for coming by my snow-filled neck of the woods! Wishing you a cozy day :)

Wow, definitely a day to stay cuddled up with something hot to drink and some stitching nearby. It looks so beautiful but I'm happy I don't have to deal with it. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Oh my Goodness that is a lot of snow! I hope that we are going to avoid a big snow storm like that for at least another month! Cute design. I love Adam and Eve things.

Wow...it looks so pretty. We rarely get that much snow. Hope your cupboards are well stocked. Snow is much nicer when you dont have to go out in it!

PJ day, snow and get to stay home all day?! Where do I sigh up?! The snow photos are beautiful. I think it's just so magical...we never get snow here. It's at least a 4 hour drive for snow. Wonderful finish too!

I love pajama day! We are getting our first light snow. I am pretty sure that ours will melt before noon though.

Oh, the snow is so pretty, but please keep it in your part of the country. I think we're suppose to get an inch or two or rain from that system.

And now I'm going to have to look for that book. I love A&E pieces, so I just have to lay my hands on it. Love it!

As always you pick neat projects - how will you finish it? The peek out your window makes me long for snow (I know, I'm crazy). Like Tanya says - stay cozy and stitch!

Love the ornament! If I can ever get out form under the pile of Halloween stitching I have going I hope to actually get some Christmas pieces done myself...

Those are some beautiful pictures of the snow fall...but, I would be happy to keep them in the picture. Being a native southern girl, I can't handle the cold...but, I do love a fresh snow-fall.

Enjoy your time off!

HAPPY STITCHIN'
