2~4~April

I didn't knit any socks in March.
But I have two pairs this month for the SAM KAL...

Blueberry Waffle Socks by Sandy Turner

yarn:  Crystal Palace Yarns Panda Superwash,
color:  Violets
2 skeins:  50g/186yds each
needles:  size 2.75 mm
modifications:  I cast on 56 stitches since the pattern is written for a slightly heavier weight yarn

56-stitch basic stockinette sock with picot edging
size:  women's sm/med
yarn:  Heart & Sole by Red Heart
color:  Blackjack
2 skeins:  50g/213yds each

It's a chilly, gray day with rain in the forecast.
My work is caught up,
so I'm going to go spend a few hours with this...

And this...

Happy Wednesday!!!

Enjoy your day, hope the weather improves. As someone who has never knitted socks, I envy your talent for producing such lovely results.

Your knitting is so lovely Staci! I sort of wish I could do that...but I don't have time for the hobbies I already have let alone another obsessions and buying yarn! So I will live vicariously through your knitting adventures LOL. Lovely colors!

Sounds like you have the ingredients for a fun day! I love the socks and I also love your washcloths in the previous post - I really must head out and get some cotton yarn to make some myself, I love the colours you used!

I just love popping over to your blog to see what you have knitted up next :) I always love the color of the socks that you make, they look super comfy too. I'm thinking of taking up knitting, maybe soon.

Hi Staci,

I am continually amazed at all
the colors and color variations
that knitting fibers come in.
And those Blueberry Waffle socks
are gorgeous!!!! I think I could
turn into a color junkie seeing
all your wonderful socks in their
many colors ... sorta like Joseph's
coat of many colors.

We picked up the latest Harry
Potter DVD as well. I saw it
with friends back in November
in the theatre but my DH did
not have the opportunity to
see it then and is anxious to
watch it before the final
movie comes out in July. I
picked up the latest Narnia
DVD as well because I missed
seeing that in the theatre
when it was out.

Happy Easter Staci!!

Cheers!

Great job on the socks! Being creative and watching a movie with a cup o'joe on a dreary day... it doesn't get any better!

Man. Love the socks. And yeah, the weather was wretched for a bit there. Seemed like the entire country was in the grip of nastiness.

Staci, each pair you knit becomes my favorite. LOL The Blueberry Waffle is GORGEOUS!! I just love the colors on both of them, but the blueberry ones really stick out for me. So, so pretty!
One of these days (I keep telling myself) I'm going to learn to knit. It's on my bucket list. :)

Happy Easter to you and yours.
