Loose Ends

Believe it or not, but I actually have finishes piling up that haven't been blogged.  So here we go, tying up loose ends so-to-speak.

Small face sponges.  Perfect for washing my face at the end of the day.  I really love them and you can knit a whole pile of them in an hour's time...

Knitted Drops Make-up Pads
freebie found here
needles:  sz 8's
yarn:  Peaches & Creme

modifications:  I cast on 15 stitches,
slipped the first stitch of each row.
I wanted mine to be more rectangular...finished size: 3.3" x 2.5"

These bracelets were another quick and fun project.  And a perfect excuse to sift through my buttons...

Seed Stitch Bracelets

Hi Staci,

Good Grief!! There's a knitting
pattern for just about anything
you could wish for, eh? Small
face sponges no less. Well, I
love the colors (especially the
pink) and they do look like they
would be just the ticket for
washing your face. I don't like
HUGE face cloths anyways. Too
bulky which equals water spraying
everywhere when I wash.

Then there's the knitted
bracelets. Love the color
changes in the yarns that
you used and aren't they
the perfect thing for
showcasing favorite and/or
unusual buttons.

Your Dad should love those
socks. They're sure to be
warmer, softer and more
comfortable and durable then
the store bought kind. But
really .... fifteen years??

The baby blanket for your
nephew and his wife looks
pretty nifty. I suspect
that this will be used long
after the child leaves baby-
hood behind. The color
makes it suitable for an
older child or teen even.
Love that spiral pattern
which emphasizes the swirls
of color in the yarn.

Cheers!

Wow! You've been very busy, Staci--great knitted finishes. So unique, too...

And what is it that makes sifting through buttons so enjoyable? I do the same thing for no reason at all :)

Very creative Staci, knitting is next on my list to learn. The payback on the time it takes to make all your wonderful projects must be so gratifying. :)
