Sock it To Me

My sock needles are almost never empty.
But there was almost a full month where they were.
Thankfully, Middle had a band concert.
So I cast on some very plain ones to take with me.
Sock respite over.
Socks have resumed...
**most of these were actually knitted BEFORE the respite**

Just love, love those socks, especially the first pair. That is something that I have to learn how to make one of these days. I'll bet they're so warm!

I 'discovered' your blog from looking around for knitted discloths. Thank you for a great tutorial!

What I really discovered is what a prolific knitter you are and your love of cross-stitch, too. I'm going to poke around your blog and see what I've been missing.

Thanks for sharing!

You must be the Queen of knitted socks Staci. They seem to fly off your needles effortlessly and always look so good.
I'm wondering where you keep them all as you must have a lot!
Love your latest especially the first pair. Cross Stitch Lounge Socks - what a great name!

Great looking socks! I need to go check out the Cross Stitch lounge pattern. Like you I always have a pair of socks close at hand to work on. My friends tease me when I take out a pair (plain stockinette) and put in a row or two while we wait for dinner at a restaurant, but all those little bits of time add up. And I truly believe that I'm ADD and this helps me from getting antsy. I wish the nuns had taught me to knit as a child - I'd have spent less time in a corner for talking - well, maybe not - LOL!

I want, want, want to knit beautiful socks just like you!! I am taking my first class in socks in April. It's a "toe-up" class based on Cat Bordhi's work. If I can master that, maybe I'll take a "toe-down" class-or something. But I'll be coming back to see your work.

Pretty socks! I just love the first pair and the one with the picot edging. The edging makes them so feminine...pretty!

Sockety-socks!!! Just love 'em. My "mass production" has slowed a bit too, but I just can't been gone from them for long.

What's not to love about your socks! I have some striped Candide yarn that I haven't used yet but now I think I may try some boot/Wellie socks. All your patterns and projects are so inspiring, Staci, thank you for sharing them here.

Love the socks! Like you, my sock needles are rarely empty. I recently tried the picot edge socks because of all the pretty pairs on your blog with the same edge. They are so pretty! I can't wait to get them off my needles and on my feet! Thanks for the inspiration! (and the link to the directions!)

I love those cross stitch socks! Such a pretty pattern, and I like the color you chose. Something about picot makes me run screaming away. :) I love the way it looks though - just not crazy about the knitting of it! I wish I was because I do like it!

I've just joined your lovely blog!
I was encouraged to visit you by Daffycat, to see your finishing technique with beads - I will definitely try it on my next pin cushion - THANK YOU!

I'm hoping you will be blogging again in the future, as you are an inspiration, especially to newbies like me!
